Disguising your eyes can make or break a costume. If you spend hours putting together a costume for Halloween (or perhaps you’re a fan of cosplay), the finishing touch is definitely to pick up a pair of special effects contacts. It’s important to get some high quality lenses if that’s the route you’re going this Halloween.

At Spider-Bite, we carry a large variety of theatrical and colored contacts that are sure to complete your Halloween costume this year! Whether you’re just looking for something to change the color of your eyes or for something that will add a creepy effect, we can help you out to add this final piece to your get up!

The lenses we sell primarily are Gothika and are a very good quality contact. These lenses are made by Orion Vision Group and are FDA approved. In store, we don’t carry any prescription sets but they can be ordered if needed. Gothika contacts can last for up to a year if taken care of properly, meaning you can use them over and over again. They’re extremely comfortable and are great for long time use, making them a great choice for extended wear at parties or conventions!

Wearing contacts does come with a level of responsibility. The lenses should be treated just like any other contacts; carefully. Be sure to always wash your hands before handling your contacts and use only the recommended solution for them (we do sell some at the shop if you need any). Avoid getting tap water on them, as it can lead to irreversible damage to the contacts. Remove the contacts before you go to sleep and NEVER share your contacts with someone else, regardless of how “clean” you think you can get them afterwards. This drastically increases the spread of bacteria.

Cosmetic contacts are a great way to add the last part on to a costume! It’s important to educate yourself on contact use before using them, of course but once you get the hang of it, contacts

are a breeze! Stop by the shop to browse our selection of theatrical contacts as well as natural contacts for the upcoming holiday or just to pick some up for a cosplay you have an idea for! The shop is well stocked with lenses so now would be the time to pick a pair up! We’re open seven days a week from 12pm-8pm!

And just a heads up; the contacts have been lowered in price! Stop in to see the new pricing during the above hours and get your hands on a pair of contacts today before they’re gone!
